THE FIELD GUIDE

Take a useful test into the demo.

An editable comparison workbook, a source-linked index, and a checklist for recording what actually happens.

AWETONOMOUS EDITORIAL · REVIEWED November 3, 2026 · FIRST RESEARCH EDITION

Solution comparison workbook

Start with the 19-entry research inventory, then record your own scenario, requirements, observations, correction work, and unresolved questions. Trial results are intentionally blank. There are no invented scores or rankings.

Keep the two kinds of evidence apart

The inventory contains vendor-described capabilities and source links reviewed November 3, 2026. Your trial entries should name the configuration, date, observer, expected outcome, actual result, and evidence. Do not overwrite a source description with a result from a different setup.

What makes a useful trial

  1. Choose one task and its completed output.
  2. Choose candidates within that task, then confirm plan and region.
  3. Exercise an ordinary case, a correction, and an exception.
  4. Include preparation, review, maintenance, and manual finishing work.
  5. Keep unobserved steps explicit and decide who owns the next action.
